Shayla Stockinger is a New York City based makeup artist specializing in fashion and character design

Growing up she wasn’t really into makeup. Her little sister Shannon was the one who got her hooked. The two of them would give each other makeovers all the time. Shayla loved the transformation and confidence that makeup gave people. It granted her the creative outlet she was always looking for. 

After high school Shayla didn’t know what she wanted to do , so she enrolled in community college. After two years of changing majors and not being happy with her career path, she dropped out and enrolled in Paul Mitchell where she got her cosmetology license. 

Still yearning for more education in makeup Shayla then decided to attend Makeup Designory (MUD) and went on to complete the Master Program. During this training Shayla has created many characters and designs for fashion and beauty shoots. 

She looks forward to creating and bringing life characters for TV and Film. She will always look for the chance to transform people into their most confident self that she learned makeup was capable of doing growing up.
